The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sonnen was well out of range. Poor timing from Bomb.
Bomb tries to clinch up but Sonnen circles away and keeps his distance.
Bomb scores with a head kick. Sonnen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Sonnen throws a head kick that misses
and Bomb counters with a stiff right hand.
Bomb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sonnen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bomb lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sonnen's sensitive parts.
Adam Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sonnen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from Bomb.
Bomb looks to land a left hand but Sonnen moved out of range nicely.
Bomb uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sonnen.
Nice cross by Bomb.
Sonnen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sonnen is rocked!
