Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joni Johnsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnsson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira throws a head kick that misses
and Johnsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnsson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Joni Johnsson has been cut.
Ferreira lands with a straight right. Johnsson didn't see that one coming.
Johnsson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferreira scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Johnsson is breathing heavily.
Johnsson motions for Ferreira to come forward. Johnsson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nice shot lands for Ferreira.
Ferreira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnsson throws out the jab.
Ferreira moves away from the strike by Johnsson.
Ferreira forces Johnsson back against the cage and clinches.
Ferreira goes for a takedown attempt but Johnsson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Decent striking displayed by Ferreira there.
Johnsson is rocked!
Ferreira drops Johnsson with a huge uppercut! Johnsson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ferreira is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronaldo Ferreira!
