Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Maxwell Leonard! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leonard lands with a nice body punch. Coleman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A big head kick from Leonard and Coleman is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Coleman is rocked!
It looks like David Coleman has been cut. Leonard stays in close to Coleman's body and controls the position. Oh Coleman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Leonard's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coleman keeping moving, preventing Leonard from controlling successfully. Coleman seems to have got his legs back now. Leonard stands and steps away. Coleman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt. Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leonard's waist but Leonard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side. Leonard connects with a high kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leonard throws a series of punches but Coleman moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leonard as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Coleman is breathing heavily. Leonard swats away the attempt to clinch by Coleman. Leonard tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Leonard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coleman at a distance.
Nice combo by Leonard! Oh, that's hurt him - Coleman falls to the canvas and Leonard follows him into side control. Leonard just content to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A control attempt from Coleman but he's now mounted!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leonard controlling from mount.
Despite being in the dominant position, Maxwell Leonard just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leonard lands a nice hook to Coleman's body. Coleman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Leonard goes for a high kick. It partially lands. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Leonard closes the distance and clinches up with Coleman, looking for a takedown. Leonard pushes Coleman against the cage but Coleman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leonard clinches up against the cage. Leonard is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Coleman is keeping busy. With the fighters up against the cage, Leonard throws an elbow but misses. Leonard wants a takedown but no success here.

Leonard keeps control of Coleman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Coleman misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Coleman has had enough of the clinch but Leonard keeps him there for the moment. Coleman pressing his opponent against the cage. Coleman lands a body shot in the clinch.

Coleman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Coleman is trying to keep Leonard in close.
Coleman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leonard is controlling him. Coleman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leonard is one step ahead there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Coleman keeping busy on the bottom but Leonard has passed one foot through into half guard.
Leonard throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coleman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Leonard on the side of the head. Coleman tries to clinch but fails miserably and Leonard counters with a single leg into guard. Coleman didn't expect that. Leonard stays in close to Coleman's body and controls the position. Coleman controls Leonard momentarily but Leonard frees himself. Leonard trying to control the position from guard on top but Coleman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leonard stands and steps away. Coleman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Coleman shoots and misses and Leonard counters with a nice uppercut. Coleman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Coleman stopping the sweep attempt from Leonard. Coleman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Leonard sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Coleman to the ground! Leonard dives into full mount looking to finish! Leonard content just to control the position here. Coleman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leonard sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Leonard wants to control the pace but Coleman is squirming around nicely. Leonard avoids the attempt from Coleman to control. Coleman tries to reverse the position but Leonard maintains control. Coleman tries to lock up and control but Leonard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coleman in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Leonard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Coleman looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman is looking to improve his position but Leonard isn't that keen on the idea. Leonard landing strikes from the mount. Leonard looking to control and managing it successfully. Coleman is desperately trying to improve his position but Leonard has a good base and remains in mount. Leonard controlling his opponent. Coleman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Coleman tries to hold on but Leonard pushes him away. Leonard controlling the pace for now. Coleman throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Leonard trying to control but Coleman is having none of it. Coleman tries to hold on but Leonard pushes him away. Leonard looking to control but Coleman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Coleman is trying desperately to improve position. Coleman is squirming around, avoiding Leonard's attempts to control the action. Coleman can't escape the position.

Maxwell Leonard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on David Coleman's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Coleman tries for a takedown but Leonard circles away easily and Leonard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Maxwell Leonard seems to be getting the better of the standup. Coleman tries to clinch but fails miserably and Leonard counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Coleman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Coleman is looking to escape. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leonard in particular looking to stall. Coleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leonard is working away from the top position though. Leonard with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Coleman is trying to control but can't.
Leonard takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Leonard is trying to control the action in half guard but Coleman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Coleman with a lazy takedown attempt and Leonard counters with a good low kick that Coleman was not able to check. Coleman fails with the takedown and Leonard counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leonard fails with the takedown and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. Leonard fights it but they end up in guard. Coleman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Leonard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Coleman prevents Leonard from getting back to his feet. Leonard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coleman is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman wants to control from the top but Leonard keeps moving. Leonard utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Coleman stops Leonard from standing up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coleman tries to clinch up but Leonard circles away and keeps his distance. Coleman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Leonard throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Leonard is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman lands a huge takedown. Leonard is out but the ref is slow to react and Coleman lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Leonard lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
