Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Where is my mind. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Gomi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyler Durden! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durden fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tyler Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durden throws a sloppy head kick and Gomi moves out of range easily. Durden shoots in and drives through. Gomi sprawls well. Gomi is looking to score with low kicks. Gomi misses with a takedown and Durden counters with a two punch combo. Gomi misses with a body kick. Gomi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Durden struggling a bit here. Gomi staying calm. Gomi is trying to move to mount but Durden reverses beautifully and ends up in Gomi's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gomi looking to control.
Durden passes Gomi's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gomi wants to get back to full guard. It looks like Durden is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gomi trying to hold on to Durden's head to control him but Durden postures up.
Durden wants to take a breather but Gomi is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gomi lands a high kick!
Gomi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Gomi is breathing heavily. Durden has Gomi up against the cage in a clinch.
Gomi is looking to control Durden's arms but Durden gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gomi has his back to the cage. Durden has had enough of the clinch but Gomi keeps him there for the moment. Durden is looking to break free of the clinch but Gomi has double underhooks. Durden is trying to break free. Gomi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Durden lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gomi looking for a guillotine here but Durden defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden stands up and waves to Gomi to follow him. Nice takedown defense from Gomi. No joy for Durden on that attempt. Tatsuya Gomi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Durden. Gomi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gomi not doing much here.
Gomi works his way into side control. Durden gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomi controlling from the full mount. Gomi landing strikes from the mount. Durden wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Durden trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Durden is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gomi.

Tatsuya Gomi dominated that round. That's time! Gomi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Durden throws a head kick that misses and Gomi counters with a takedown into side control. Durden struggling a bit here. Gomi cracks Durden with an elbow. That is naaassty. Gomi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gomi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gomi throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gomi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Durden is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Gomi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Durden keeps working. Gomi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gomi taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Durden is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gomi is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Gomi controlling from mount. Durden tries to hold on but Gomi pushes him away. Gomi wants to control the pace but Durden is squirming around nicely. Durden is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden blocking the ground and pound. Durden is looking to get to half guard. Durden is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gomi trying to control but Durden is having none of it. Durden is trying to stand up. Durden is looking to get to half guard. Gomi won't let Durden get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Durden working to try and regain half guard.

Tatsuya Gomi dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Durden.
Gomi lands with a kick to the temple. Durden shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Durden throws a head kick that misses. Decent striking displayed by Durden there. Durden misses with a few strikes there.
Durden circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gomi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Durden misses with a body shot.
Gomi misses with a takedown and Durden counters with a flying knee. Nice. Durden tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gomi counters by moving into the clinch. Durden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Durden has Gomi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gomi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Gomi gets a trip takedown into half guard. Durden takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gomi stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Durden to get to his feet. Gomi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gomi showed some decent athleticism there. Durden pushes Gomi off looking to stand but Gomi dives back in and keeps control.
Gomi stalling. Durden is trying to control but can't.
Gomi is looking to take a break and control but Durden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Durden is looking to improve his position.
Durden is staying active underneath Gomi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Durden throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gomi counters with a one-two to the body. Gomi blocks a head kick by Durden.
Gomi is looking to clinch. Gomi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Durden is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Durden is not content to let Gomi control the position. Tatsuya Gomi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomi decides to stand back up. Gomi steps back and let's Durden get back to his feet. Gomi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durden but Durden pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gomi, right into the meat.
Gomi shoots for a takedown but Durden saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatsuya Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gomi shoots for a double leg takedown but Durden sprawls well. He's pushed Gomi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Durden lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Durden explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Durden with a body punch. A glancing blow. Durden throws a head kick that misses and Gomi counters with a thumping low kick. Gomi avoids the head kick by Durden.
Gomi digs a good hook to Durden's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomi throws a right hand that misses
and Durden counters with a series of strikes. Gomi will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gomi is rocked! Durden throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Oh Gomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! A head kick misses from Durden. Gomi waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Durden. Durden lands a big head kick that sends Gomi to the canvas! Durden follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Durden!
