Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moai Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neck has chosen Deep Purple - Bad Attitude as his entrance music. Pencil Neck has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Moai Burns's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Moai Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pencil Neck!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Neck throws a head kick that misses.
Neck uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burns.
A big right from Neck misses.
Neck shoots for a takedown but Burns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Neck fails with the takedown.
Burns scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Neck feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Neck trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom.
Burns wants to stand but Neck is controlling the position.

Burns manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Neck misses with a takedown attempt - Burns sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Moai Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pencil Neck.
Neck tries to clinch up.
Neck dives in and grabs Burns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burns pushes down on Neck's head and hops out.
Burns throws a sloppy head kick and Neck moves out of range easily.
Burns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Neck.
Neck throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Burns.
Pencil Neck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neck shoots in and bounces Burns off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neck slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Neck is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burns is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Burns explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Neck is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Burns's half guard.
Burns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Neck on the ground.

Neck decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Neck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Burns lands a slapping body shot.
Burns throws a push kick but Neck slaps the foot to one side.
Burns stuffs the takedown.
Neck scores with a takedown into Burns's guard.
Burns is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Burns cracks Neck with a nice body shot.
Neck lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neck prevents Burns from standing back up.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Neck landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neck has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Burns defend it? Neck steps over the head and cranks it - Burns is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Neck!
