Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boon Baboon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radu Vrabiuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baboon comes to the cage accompanied by Masterchef Synesthesia. Vrabiuta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blue Bob/David Lynch -- Blue Horse. Radu Vrabiuta told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baboon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vrabiuta as he avoids it easily.
Vrabiuta dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Vrabiuta as Baboon shoots in.
Baboon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vrabiuta tries to get to full guard but Baboon has control of the leg.
Vrabiuta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baboon pulls his head out easily.
Baboon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vrabiuta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Baboon.
Baboon is working for a submission of some sort.
Baboon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Baboon is trying to control the action in half guard but Vrabiuta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Vrabiuta is defending against the submission attempts here by Baboon.
Vrabiuta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baboon pulls his head out easily.
Vrabiuta is looking for a sweep. Baboon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Baboon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vrabiuta sees it coming and defends easily.
Vrabiuta is looking to control Baboon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vrabiuta avoid being mounted?

Vrabiuta wants to improve his position but Baboon is controlling well.
Baboon is trying to control the action in half guard but Vrabiuta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Baboon tries to pass to full mount but Vrabiuta defends it.
Baboon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vrabiuta defend it? Baboon steps over the head and cranks it - Vrabiuta is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Baboon!
