James comes to the cage accompanied by The Pokemon Theme. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a head kick but Van Slooten moves out of range.
James fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Van Slooten.
Vinnie Van Slooten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Van Slooten misses its intended target.
Van Slooten ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
Van Slooten looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.
Van Slooten stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from James.
James throws a head kick but Van Slooten moves out of range.
Van Slooten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
James on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Van Slooten stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Van Slooten throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.

Van Slooten blocks a head kick by James.
James pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Slooten throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
Nice body kick from James.
Van Slooten swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Van Slooten throws a leg kick
and James counters with a body kick.
Van Slooten looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
James throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Vinnie Van Slooten has been cut.
Van Slooten is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down James rather than just go for the knockout.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James lands with a kick to the temple. Van Slooten shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

James lands a big head kick that sends Van Slooten tumbling to the mat! James takes a step backwards and waves Van Slooten back to his feet - he wants the finish!

James throws a nice inside leg kick.
James feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Van Slooten collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
