Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Mir! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Williams avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mir. Mir advances nicely into full mount. Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mir looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Mir looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. You get the feeling that Williams really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Mir blocks Williams's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Mir has hold of Williams's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Williams manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mir looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Mir looks gassed! Williams is in bad spot here.
Williams is trying to defend against the choke here but Mir has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Mir Tightens the hold and Williams taps out furiously! Mir displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
