Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruaa takes a swing at Kovrov's ribcage but misses.
Bruaa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kovrov.
Bruaa looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kovrov blocks a head kick by Bruaa.
Bruaa closes the distance and clinches up with Kovrov, looking for a takedown. Bruaa pushes Kovrov against the cage but Kovrov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bruaa misses with a wild combination.
Bruaa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Kovrov misses.
Kovrov misses with a lunging right hand
and Bruaa counters with a big head kick but Kovrov shrugs it off.
Bruaa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kovrov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kovrov throws a leg kick which misses Bruaa's front leg but catches the back leg as Bruaa tries to avoid it.
Bruaa fails with the takedown.
Alexsandr Kovrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinaya Ako Bruaa.
Kovrov drops Bruaa with a beautiful combination! Bruaa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kovrov is looking for the KO!
Bruaa is rocked!
It looks like Shinaya Ako Bruaa has been cut.
Bruaa looks gassed!
Kovrov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bruaa to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bruaa looks to clinch but Kovrov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bruaa taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
