Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes into the arena with Enter Sand Man-Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Pedro Sanchez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pedro Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Bruce Sanders has been cut. Sanchez catches Sanders with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Decent striking displayed by Sanchez there. Sanchez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sanders walks into a stiff left hand from Sanchez. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Sanders. A big right from Sanchez misses. Sanders throws a jab but it's blocked by Sanchez. Sanders lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Pedro Sanchez has been cut. Sanders throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range. Sanders clinches with his opponent.
Sanchez fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sanchez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sanders is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sanchez to the mat. Sanchez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Sanders working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sanders postures up in Sanchez's guard and throws a big left but Sanchez blocks it. Sanchez trying to keep a closed guard but Sanders is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sanchez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sanders. Sanders postures up in Sanchez's guard and throws a big left but Sanchez blocks it. Sanders trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sanchez's guard. Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanders can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sanchez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanders in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sanders trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanders working some strikes from top position. Sanders distracts Sanchez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sanders throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanchez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanders throwing strikes from guard but Sanchez blocks nicely. Sanders stands up over Sanchez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanchez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sanders defends it easily. Sanders wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sanchez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sanders throws a strike but Sanchez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sanchez stopping the sweep attempt from Sanders. Sanders has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sanchez has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Sanchez is trying to maintain the position but Sanders is very close to passing his half guard. Sanders lands strikes from half guard. Sanders tries to stand and escape but Sanchez actually recovers to full guard. Sanchez has his foot on Sanders's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanders works his way back into a safe position though. Sanders is working Sanchez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sanchez looking for a guillotine here but Sanders defends easily.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanders throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders throwing strikes from guard but Sanchez blocks nicely. Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sanchez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sanders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sanchez working a defensive guard here.
Sanders stands and steps away. Sanchez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Sanchez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sanders. Sanders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Sanders, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Sanchez dips to his left and cracks Sanders with an uppercut! A cross from Sanchez lands. Bruce Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez thows a body shot but no joy. Sanders throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sanchez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sanders is breathing heavily. Sanders misses with a head kick.
Sanchez throws a lazy right hand but Sanders sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sanders bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sanders clinches up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanders gets a trip takedown into half guard. Sanchez is pressing down on Sanders's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sanchez is looking for a triangle but Sanders pushes his legs off easily.
Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sanders defends well. Sanders is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanchez has wrist control. Sanders is sitting in close to Sanchez's body. Sanchez has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sanders is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sanders is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sanchez.
