Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack clap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jericho Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack clap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jericho Jackson! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson wants to clinch. clap has a takedown stuffed. Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt and clap counters with a one-two to the body.
Jackson is rocked! clap throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range. Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can clap finish him? Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but clap paws at him with a jab and circles away. clap closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. clap pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. clap shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack clap. That's going to take a lot out of him. clap is breathing heavily. Jackson dodges the punch combination from clap.
Jackson has clap up against the cage in a clinch.
Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but clap pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jackson clinches with his opponent.
clap can't get the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looking to throw knees to the head but clap is blocking nicely.
clap gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jackson manages to get to full guard.
Jackson wants to sweep but no luck. clap passes into half guard. clap really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. clap perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. clap is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of clap's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take clap's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson is trying to stick to clap's back but clap is turning into Jackson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jackson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by clap. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but clap has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jackson is looking to defend but clap has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jackson! clap pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jackson taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jack clap!
