PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marcus Maximus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maximus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Flint is looking to reverse the position.
Flint manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Maximus frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Maximus wants to take Flint's back here but Flint is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maximus can do anything to dispel that myth.

Marcus Maximus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Flint had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maximus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Flint Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maximus's back instead.

Well Maximus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
