Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHale throws a right hand that Bougit ducks under and follows up with a left that Bougit also avoids with ease.
Bougit looks for a takedown but McHale sprawls well.
McHale closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McHale lands in his opponent's guard.
Bougit can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McHale controls the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McHale accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McHale landing with the ground and pound.
Bougit will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bougit can do anything to dispel that myth.
McHale postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McHale with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

McHale passes Bougit's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McHale winds up and cracks Bougit with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bougit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McHale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McHale is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bougit is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McHale in particular looking to stall.
McHale takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
McHale is controlling the pace.
McHale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bougit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bougit wants to get back to full guard.
McHale scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
McHale drops an elbow to the side of Bougit's head.

McHale lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
McHale passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bougit!
McHale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bougit is in a horrible position here. McHale smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

McHale is landing with some decent strikes but Bougit is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bougit keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

McHale lands a big shot there that rocks Bougit but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oooooh, big shot lands for McHale! Bougit is hurt baaadly! McHale is firing away with more strikes - Bougit is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
