Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Bowes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowes has chosen till I collapse- Eminem as his entrance music. The key to victory for Mike Peters has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Bowes! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters ducks under a wild hook from Bowes. Peters scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bowes shoots in and bounces Peters off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bowes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Peters's head. Bowes prevents Peters from getting back to his feet. Bowes is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Peters looking to control.
Bowes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bowes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bowes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Peters wants to stand up but Bowes is controlling him. Peters avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bowes wants to pass the guard but Peters is keeping the position. Bowes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bowes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Peters wants to stand and escape but Bowes is having none of it. Peters not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Peters wants to stand up but Bowes is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Bowes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bowes passes Peters's left leg - he's now in half guard. Peters blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bowes. Peters taking some punishment here, with Bowes in his half guard. Bowes is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Peters! Bowes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peters looks a forlorn figure.

Peters on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Peters tries to get out of the position. Bowes landing strikes, looking to finish! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peters is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Bowes locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Peters is forced to tap!
