Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kieth Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao has chosen Mortal Kombat-Techno Kombat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kieth Slayer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieth Slayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kung Lao! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Slayer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Slayer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lao. Slayer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lao as he jumps to the side. Lao scores with a takedown into Slayer's guard. Lao won't allow Slayer to sweep him here. Lao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lao won't allow Slayer to sweep him here. Slayer is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lao dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slayer pushes Lao away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lao gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer is looking to get back to his feet here but Lao is keeping cool and he's managed to take Slayer's back. Lao is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Slayer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Slayer for a finish. Lao slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Lao lands shots from the back. Slayer controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Lao really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Slayer. Slayer is trying to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lao's arms. Slayer is trying to defend against the choke here but Lao has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Lao Tightens the hold and Slayer taps out furiously! Lao displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kung Lao!
