Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Syah Pernong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keaton Bullard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keaton Bullard struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syah Pernong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bullard darts in trying to clinch
and Syah Pernong counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
