Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Jackson! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming. Parker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jackson gets the takedown into side control. Parker is looking for a sweep. Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Parker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jackson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Parker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Parker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Parker keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Parker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Parker tries to get out of the position. Parker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jackson. Parker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Parker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Parker's guard. Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well. Jackson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Parker tries to strike from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Parker is controlling Jackson's posture. Parker keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Billy Jackson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parker as he avoids it easily. Parker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Parker wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson taking some punishment here, with Parker in his half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson tries to kick Parker off in order to stand up. Parker Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Parker misses with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Parker dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Parker which made him look bad. Jackson shoots in but Parker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jackson ducks right into an uppercut from Parker. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parker is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Parker circles away and we're back to standing. Ted Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Jackson. Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Parker sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Parker misses with a double jab.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Parker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Parker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jackson is breathing heavily. Parker scores with the left hand. Jackson knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Parker throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Parker jumps guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Parker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Parker lands a right hand. Jackson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Parker after a bit of a struggle. Parker tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson is looking to clinch. Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parker throws out the jab. Parker feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Parker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Parker is controlling him. Parker trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Parker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jackson keeping full guard, as Parker tries to pass. This has been an exciting period of action! Parker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Ted Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Parker loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Jackson moves away from the strike by Parker. Parker catches Jackson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A slow jab from Parker misses its intended target. Parker misses with a wild combination.
Jackson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Parker gets the takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Parker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jackson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Parker just content to control the position. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Parker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Parker dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jackson ducks right into an uppercut from Parker. Jackson slips a jab from Parker. Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ted Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Jackson. Jackson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Parker throws a lazy right hand but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Parker misses the target. Jackson defending well as Parker loads up on a big left hand. Jackson tries to clinch up. Parker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Parker gets a takedown into half guard.

Parker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Parker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jackson defending well though. Parker works his way into full mount! Parker landing shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Parker lands a heavy elbow. Billy Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Parker working Jackson over with strikes here. Parker with the ground and pound from mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker prevents Jackson from getting the reversal. Parker lands with some strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parker controlling from mount. Parker in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that's the end of the fight! Ted Parker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Parker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
