0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Carlyle! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Carlyle throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hunt blocks it with crossed arms. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hunt obliges. Hunt avoiding damage as Carlyle throws knees to the body.

Carlyle looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlyle throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hunt blocks it with crossed arms. Knees in the clinch landing for Hunt.
Hunt lands a nice knee to the body. Hunt crunches a lovely knee into Carlyle's ribcage. Hunt gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hunt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Carlyle has managed to free his arm - good work. Hunt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hunt sitting and controlling from the half guard. Hunt throwing shots but Carlyle is blocking nicely. Hunt is taking a breather. Carlyle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hunt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunt is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carlyle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hunt is trying for a kimura here. Carlyle looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hunt wins by kimura!
