The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson shoots in for a double leg but Daniels sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ferguson moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off.

Daniels scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Well, if Daniels is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Daniels is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ferguson is surviving well by controlling Daniels's body position as best he can.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Daniels hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ferguson gets tackled into the cage by Daniels. Daniels maintains the clinch.
Daniels is trying to drag Ferguson to the mat but Ferguson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Daniels tries to pull guard but Ferguson holds him up against the cage and eventually Daniels drops back down to his feet.

Daniels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ferguson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Daniels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
