Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Yzerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao comes to the ring accompanied by The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. Yzerman has chosen the captain as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Brandao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Yzerman! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandao misses with a head kick.
Yzerman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Mark Yzerman has been cut. Brandao throws a right and a left that Yzerman avoids nicely. Brandao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yzerman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Yzerman is looking to take a break and control but Brandao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yzerman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brandao defends it well. Brandao manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yzerman pushing down on Brandao's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Yzerman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Yzerman is keen to just control but Brandao is a slippery customer. Yzerman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Yzerman wants to control but Brandao is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yzerman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Yzerman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yzerman looks gassed! Yzerman is trying to control. Brandao wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Yzerman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brandao's head. Yzerman is working for a kimura but Brandao is defending it quite comfortably.
Brandao tries to get to full guard but Yzerman has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandao regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Yzerman. Yzerman throws a strike but Brandao rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Brandao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Brandao has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yzerman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brandao is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yzerman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brandao postures up in Yzerman's guard and throws a big left but Yzerman blocks it. Yzerman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brandao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brandao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Brandao lands a couple of digs. Brandao wants to stand but Yzerman is controlling his posture from full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yzerman can do anything to dispel that myth. Brandao trying to control but Yzerman is working from the bottom. Brandao throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yzerman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brandao is aware though and is defending well. Brandao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yzerman on the ground. Brandao in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brandao trying to control but Yzerman is working from the bottom. Brandao is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yzerman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Brandao dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Yzerman's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Yzerman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yzerman wants to clinch. Brandao throws a shot to the body.
Yzerman takes one on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Brandao lands a big uppercut and Yzerman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yzerman looks OK. Brandao waves Yzerman back to his feet!
That has opened up Mark Yzerman's cut even more. Brandao scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Brandao ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Yzerman out cold! The fight is over!
