Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Donnely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Damajur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donnely comes into the arena with Hayling- FC Kahuna blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Donnely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Damajur! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damajur doesn't manage to clinch there - Donnely circles away.
Liam Donnely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Damajur shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donnely pinned against the cage. Donnely gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Donnely looking to score a takedown here. Damajur is defending well but Donnely drives through and ends up in Damajur's guard. Donnely postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Damajur is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Donnely with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Damajur manages to break the clinch.
Donnely feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Donnely wants to pass the guard but Damajur is keeping the position. Donnely stands up from guard. Let's bang! This has been an exciting period of action! Damajur tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donnely swats him away and circles back towards the center. Donnely shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Donnely showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donnely trying to control from half guard but Damajur is working away. Donnely throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Donnely missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Damajur keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Donnely missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Donnely winds up and cracks Damajur with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Damajur looks like he's trying to stand up.
Donnely is pressing down on Damajur's thigh, looking to free his foot. Damajur is holding on for now. Damajur keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Damajur keeps control of the position for the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damajur tries to kick Donnely off but Donnely keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Donnely passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Damajur! Donnely scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Donnely landing strikes, looking to finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Donnely dominating with strikes here. Damajur wants to hold on but Donnely pushes him away. Donnely has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Donnely cracks Damajur with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Donnely lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Damajur hang on? Donnely working Damajur over with strikes here. Donnely pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Damajur is rocked! Damajur in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Damajur is still in real trouble! Can Donnely finish him? Donnely scoring with strikes but Damajur is staying in there. Donnely looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Donnely breaks from Damajur's wrist control and lands an elbow. Donnely drops a big elbow. That's hurt Damajur! More shots from Donnely and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam Donnely! Liam Donnely made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'The Love Gun would just like to wish his brother Jez good luck in his upcoming AFC bantamweight title fight with Fanis Bartko.
