Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marian Pozzollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlin McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pozzollo comes to the cage accompanied by My Time Is Now. McCann has chosen Highway to Hell (AC/DC) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McCann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McCann gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Pozzollo tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pozzollo somewhat.
Pozzollo moves into the clinch.

McCann gets underhooks to prevent Pozzollo's takedown attempt.
Pozzollo goes for a takedown in the clinch but McCann prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marian Pozzollo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pozzollo has McCann pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McCann manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Pozzollo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pozzollo wants it to stay on the feet.
McCann dips to his left and cracks Pozzollo with an uppercut!

Pozzollo jumps guard but McCann stands there with Pozzollo around his waist. Pozzollo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

McCann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McCann swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pozzollo closes the distance and clinches up with McCann, looking for a takedown. Pozzollo pushes McCann against the cage but McCann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McCann postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pozzollo to stand up.
Pozzollo leaves McCann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McCann misses with a shot to the body
and Pozzollo counters with a low kick, right behind McCann 's knee.
Pozzollo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pozzollo counters with a single leg into guard. McCann didn't expect that.

Pozzollo wants to pass the guard but McCann is keeping the position.
Pozzollo is looking to advance position but McCann has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Pozzollo is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Marlin McCann.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

McCann shoots in for a takedown but Pozzollo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

McCann rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pozzollo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

McCann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pozzollo.
Pozzollo tries to stall but McCann uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pozzollo is working for takedown but McCann is calmly controlling the position for now.
Pozzollo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCann uses from the top position.

No joy there for McCann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCann takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Pozzollo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Marlin McCann comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got McCann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
