Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niall William Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cohen Maloney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Niall William Quinn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Niall William Quinn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

25 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Cohen Maloney! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maloney gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Maloney with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. A frustrated look appears on Quinn's face as he tries to break the clinch. Quinn wants to break the clinch but can't.

Quinn is breathing heavily. Maloney gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Quinn regains guard.

Cohen Maloney dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Maloney doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Maloney fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Quinn. Maloney scores with a head kick. Quinn tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Maloney comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Quinn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maloney. Maloney fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quinn sprawls well initially but Maloney persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Maloney prevents Quinn from standing back up.
Maloney takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Maloney looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Quinn wants to control the position but Maloney says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maloney uses his free foot to push down on Quinn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Quinn. Quinn tries to reverse the position but Maloney maintains control. Maloney gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Maloney closes the distance and clinches. Maloney tries for a takedown. No joy.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Quinn tries to bench press Maloney off him but Maloney keeps the position. Maloney is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Quinn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Maloney has an Americana. Quinn didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Maloney is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Maloney hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
