Amirpour has chosen Can't Turn You Loose as his entrance music. The key to victory for Mike Anderson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Masjid Amirpour! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson moves into the clinch successfully.
Anderson being controlled against the cage. Amirpour turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Amirpour manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Anderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amirpour landing strikes. An elbow from Amirpour crashes against the mat.
Anderson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amirpour is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Anderson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Amirpour tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Amirpour creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Anderson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Anderson prevents Amirpour from improving position. Amirpour lands some shots froms side control. Amirpour controls the position. Amirpour has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Amirpour looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Amirpour scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Anderson to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amirpour working the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson is trying to get back to half guard. Amirpour takes a little break here. Anderson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Amirpour works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Amirpour wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Anderson, who protects the arm well. Amirpour lands a strong strike to the head of Anderson. That's dazed him! Amirpour looking to finish here. Anderson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Amirpour lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Masjid Amirpour! After the fight, Masjid Amirpour was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
