Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Zalcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Pall Sigmarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalcock comes to the cage accompanied by El Metro. Sigmarsson has chosen Du Hast, Rammstein as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalcock misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sigmarsson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Zalcock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zalcock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Zalcock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sigmarsson lands a jab to Zalcock's midsection.

Sigmarsson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The strikes coming from Sigmarsson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sigmarsson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sigmarsson wants it to stay on the feet.
Zalcock uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sigmarsson.

and Zalcock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sigmarsson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zalcock.
Zalcock shoots in for a double leg but Sigmarsson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sigmarsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zalcock moves away.
Sigmarsson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Zalcock back to the cage. Sigmarsson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sigmarsson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zalcock stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sigmarsson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zalcock on the side of the head.
Horrible takedown by Zalcock or perhaps it was just good defense by Sigmarsson which made him look bad.

Zalcock struggles to land a body shot inside as Sigmarsson controls his hands.
Zalcock is looking to control Sigmarsson's arms but Sigmarsson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Zalcock has his back to the cage.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zalcock. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sigmarsson has Zalcock pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Zalcock is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Sigmarsson - that's hurt Zalcock badly! Oh, another knee lands and Zalcock is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Zalcock doesn't seem to be complaining.
