5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent The Vandal! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woodhall blocks a head kick by The Vandal.
Woodhall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The Vandal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Vandal tries to clinch up but Woodhall circles away and keeps his distance. Woodhall has The Vandal up against the cage in a clinch.
Woodhall throws a head punch that misses. The Vandal gets through Woodhall's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The Vandal scores with an uppercut up the middle. The Vandal with a knee to the head.
Nice elbow from The Vandal. The Vandal has a couple of punches blocked by Woodhall.
The Vandal lands a nice elbow from the clinch. The Vandal scores with a nice hook to the head. The Vandal misses with a punch on the inside.
The Vandal scores with a shot to the side of Woodhall's head. The Vandal swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Woodhall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from The Vandal.
The Vandal misses with a short punch on the inside. The Vandal lands a body punch. The Vandal tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The Vandal gets through Woodhall's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Woodhall blocks an uppercut.
Woodhall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but The Vandal has him pressed against the cage. The Vandal scores with an uppercut up the middle. Woodhall doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The Vandal misses with a short punch on the inside. Woodhall jumps guard and drags The Vandal to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Woodhall wants to sweep but no luck. Woodhall being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodhall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Woodhall wants to stand up but The Vandal is controlling him. Woodhall being controlled here, momentarily. Woodhall wants to sweep but no luck. The Vandal passes easily into side control. Nice work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Vandal working away. The Vandal has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The Vandal tests Woodhall's chin there with a solid looking shot. Woodhall fails with an attempt to clinch.
The Vandal tries to clinch but Woodhall is having none of it. The Vandal misses with a series of wild punches.
Woodhall lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Woodhall is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodhall blocks a head kick by The Vandal.
The Vandal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The Vandal ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Woodhall tries to clinch there but The Vandal circles away.
The Vandal fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Woodhall. The Vandal sizes up Woodhall with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The Vandal has taken the fight to the clinch.
Woodhall takes a shot to the head. Woodhall wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The Vandal lands a hook to the side of the head. A nice right hand lands inside from The Vandal. The Vandal lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Still in the clinch, The Vandal scores with a nice short uppercut. Woodhall takes a shot to the head. Woodhall is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A nice right hand lands inside from The Vandal. Woodhall lands a right hand that snaps the head of The Vandal backwards. Woodhall blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The Vandal throws a knee to the head but misses.
The Vandal swings wildly with an uppercut but Woodhall uses good head movement to avoid it. Woodhall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The Vandal throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Woodhall blocks it with crossed arms. Woodhall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vincent The Vandal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Vandal wants to slow Woodhall down by chopping away at his legs. Woodhall looks to land a combination but The Vandal avoids it well. Woodhall shoots in for a double leg but The Vandal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Woodhall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woodhall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Vandal, pushing him back against the cage. The Vandal misses with the head strike.
The Vandal misses with a punch on the inside.
The Vandal swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Woodhall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Woodhall changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The Vandal fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Woodhall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Woodhall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Woodhall misses with the combination.
Woodhall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Vandal as he avoids it easily. Woodhall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Vandal moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Woodhall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Vandal is fending him off so far but Woodhall persists. Nope, The Vandal circles away and we're back to standing. The Vandal throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Woodhall. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woodhall wants to clinch. Woodhall throws a right and a left that both miss. The Vandal misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A left and a right from The Vandal both land. Nice combination. Woodhall shoots in looking for a takedown. The Vandal tries to sprawl out of it but Woodhall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Vandal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The Vandal throws a right and a left that Woodhall avoids nicely. Nice sprawl there from The Vandal as Woodhall shoots in. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent The Vandal dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Woodhall has a takedown stuffed. Woodhall scores with a one two! The Vandal had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The Vandal avoids a punch combination nicely.
