Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ron Stevens was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddy Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Stevens! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens avoids the body shot from Stone.
Stone lands with a shot to the body. Stevens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stone swivels and escapes. Stevens shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A nice combination there by Stevens.
Stevens moves out of range of the leg kick from Stone. Stone leaves Stevens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Eddy Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Stevens. Stevens fails with a takedown attempt. Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stone throws a combination that misses and Stevens counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Stone misses with a double jab
and Stevens counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that. Stone is looking to regain half guard here but Stevens keeps moving and retains side control. Stevens decides to take the fight back to the feet. Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Stone.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stevens doesn't seem bothered though. Stevens dodges the punch combination from Stone.
Stone looks to throw the jab but Stevens is out of range. Stone misses with a kick to the body.
Stone misses with a left hand and Stevens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice sprawl there from Stevens as Stone shoots in. Stone is breathing heavily. Stevens misses with a takedown attempt - Stone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stevens. Stevens checks a leg kick. Stone lands a jab-cross combination. Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stevens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stone misses with a body shot.
Stevens throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Stevens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stevens scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevens is pressing down on Stone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stone is holding on for now. Stevens is trying to control the action in half guard but Stone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stevens decides to stand up. Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stevens has closed the distance and engaged Stone in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Stevens dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Stone throws a chopping leg kick but Stevens manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Stone is looking to chop away at Stevens's legs. Stevens blocks a head kick by Stone.
A combination from Stone does no damage. Stevens lands a jab. Stevens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stone scores with a head kick. Stevens tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stevens bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stone throws a solid leg kick but Stevens takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stone. Stevens is looking to clinch. Stevens fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away. Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stevens moves into the clinch. Stevens wants a takedown but no success here.
Eddy Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Stevens. Stone gets a trip takedown into half guard. Stone is nestled in close to Stevens, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stevens. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stevens uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Stevens. Those never looked like landing. Stone throws an off balance right hand
and Stevens counters with a one-two to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stone fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone misses with a double jab
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stone doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stone throws a combination that misses and Stevens counters with a three punch combo that has Stone backing up. Stone nods at Stevens to acknowledge the strikes.
Stone is rocked! Eddy Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stevens looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Oh Stone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stevens advances position into side control! Stevens has hold of Stone's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stone tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Stevens cranks the arm and Stone screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stone, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ron Stevens!
