Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Sawaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janusz Tytanowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lee Sawaguchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Janusz Tytanowy! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tytanowy clinches. Tytanowy stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Tytanowy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sawaguchi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lee Sawaguchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tytanowy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sawaguchi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tytanowy counters with a low kick, right behind Sawaguchi 's knee. Tytanowy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Tytanowy stops a takedown attempt from Sawaguchi.
That's one minute gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tytanowy takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sawaguchi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tytanowy has him pressed against the cage. Tytanowy gets underhooks to prevent Sawaguchi's takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tytanowy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tytanowy wants to get up but he can't break Sawaguchi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tytanowy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Janusz Tytanowy wasn't active enough on the ground. A head kick misses from Sawaguchi. Tytanowy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sawaguchi, pushing him back against the cage. Sawaguchi jumps guard but Tytanowy stands there with Sawaguchi around his waist. Sawaguchi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sawaguchi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tytanowy pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tytanowy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sawaguchi swings for the body but Tytanowy moves out of range.

Sawaguchi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tytanowy sprawls well. Tytanowy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sawaguchi gets slowly back to his feet. Sawaguchi fails with the takedown and Tytanowy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tytanowy. Sawaguchi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sawaguchi is breathing heavily. Tytanowy showing good wrestling skills to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Sawaguchi looking for a guillotine here but Tytanowy defends easily.
Tytanowy is in close to Sawaguchi's body, working some short punches and elbows. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sawaguchi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tytanowy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tytanowy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sawaguchi is defended easily by Tytanowy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tytanowy tries a head kick but it misses.

Sawaguchi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sawaguchi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tytanowy. Tytanowy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Tytanowy looks up at the clock and then as Sawaguchi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tytanowy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

And that's the end of the fight! Janusz Tytanowy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tytanowy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
