Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Wayne Killer Clown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Garrido! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrido gets caught flat footed, as Killer Clown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Garrido working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killer Clown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killer Clown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer Clown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garrido swivels though and keeps the full guard. Killer Clown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garrido works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Killer Clown takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Killer Clown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Killer Clown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garrido is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Killer Clown is aware though and is defending well. Garrido has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garrido is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Garrido keeping full guard, as Killer Clown tries to pass. Garrido had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Killer Clown defends it easily. Killer Clown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Garrido working for a triangle but Killer Clown defends it easily.
Killer Clown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garrido on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer Clown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Killer Clown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Killer Clown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garrido has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Killer Clown has managed to get both his arms back between Garrido's legs - danger averted. Garrido is looking for a triangle but Killer Clown pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garrido utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Garrido is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Killer Clown is aware though and is defending well. Garrido pushes a forearm under Killer Clown's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Killer Clown is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
