0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andreas Kraniotakes! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraniotakes shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson tries to clinch but Kraniotakes moves out of range. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kraniotakes throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Kraniotakes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Roy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Kraniotakes. Kraniotakes throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range. Kraniotakes slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Kraniotakes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson leaves Kraniotakes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Andreas Kraniotakes has been cut. Kraniotakes looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kraniotakes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson has managed to clinch.
Kraniotakes has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment. Jackson gets through Kraniotakes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jackson wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kraniotakes is looking for a takedown. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kraniotakes uses from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kraniotakes prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Kraniotakes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kraniotakes connects with a high kick. Andreas Kraniotakes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kraniotakes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kraniotakes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jackson pulls guard successfully.

Jackson is trying to stand up here but Kraniotakes is controlling him well. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kraniotakes on the ground. Jackson is trying to escape back to his feet but Kraniotakes uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Kraniotakes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kraniotakes swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kraniotakes's guard. Jackson wants to stand and escape but instead Kraniotakes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kraniotakes gets to his feet - Jackson follows without any prompting. Danga de danga de dang - Jackson scores with a four punch combination! Kraniotakes is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kraniotakes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kraniotakes throws a combination that misses and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Kraniotakes will be more careful next time no doubt. Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kraniotakes.

Jackson tries to avoid it but Kraniotakes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Kraniotakes. Kraniotakes looks to clinch and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson. Jackson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Roy Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kraniotakes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
