Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babe Ruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuta Rekishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rekishi has chosen Cult of Personality - Living Colour as his entrance music. The key to victory for Babe Ruth has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Babe Ruth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryuta Rekishi!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruth fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ruth looks to throw the jab but Rekishi is out of range.
Rekishi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rekishi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ruth throws a body punch but Rekishi moves out of range.
Rekishi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ruth counters with a right hand to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rekishi tried to score with a low kick but Ruth checks it.
Ruth scores with the left hand. Rekishi knows he should have avoided that one.
Ruth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ruth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rekishi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rekishi slips a jab and a cross from Ruth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rekishi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ruth looks to throw the jab but Rekishi is out of range.
Ruth fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ruth looks to throw the jab but Rekishi is out of range.
A cross from Ruth lands.
Ruth takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rekishi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ruth lands a body shot.
Rekishi looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruth keeps the fight on the outside.
Ruth goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ruth goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Rekishi stumbles back but Ruth runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Rekishi to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Rekishi will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Babe Ruth!
A very excited looking Babe Ruth made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
