Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Ooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paulo Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Ooka! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ooka walks into a left hand. Nice defenses there by Ooka. Kang throws a jab when Ooka was well out of range. Ooka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ooka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Ooka throws a series of punches but Kang moves out of range. Kang takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ooka moves out of range of the body kick. Kang throws a leg kick and Ooka counters with a good, hard body kick but Kang shrugs it off. Ooka misses with a wild body shot. Ooka throws a sloppy head kick and Kang moves out of range easily. Ooka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kang. Kang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang connects with a solid leg kick. Ooka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kang. Kang misses with a hook
and Ooka counters by clinching up. Ooka is looking for a takedown. Ooka prevents a body shot from Kang. Ooka misses with a hook from the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Kang stops a takedown attempt from Ooka.
Paulo Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Ooka. A short right from Kang on the inside. A short left from Kang. Kang throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ookas head. Ooka wants to take the fight to the mat but Kang manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kang taking a breather. Ooka gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ooka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kang keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ooka wants to control but Kang is keeping him busy. Ooka not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ooka seems to be looking for submissions.
Kang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ooka on the ground. Ooka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kang keeps working. Ooka wants to pass to mount but Kang is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ooka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kang is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ooka thowing shots but they're missing. Ooka landing strikes from the mount and Kang is in trouble! Kang is squirming around, avoiding Ooka's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ooka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kang to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kang shrugs it off. Ooka pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kang is squirming around, avoiding Ooka's attempts to control the action. This has been an exciting period of action! Ooka connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ooka looking to ground and pound but Kang is blocking nicely. Ooka misses with a head shot. Ooka wants to control the pace but Kang is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Ooka dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nice body kick from Kang. Kang misses with a wild body shot. Ooka throws a sloppy head kick and Kang counters with a straight right hand. Ooka on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A solid leg kick lands there for Ooka.
Ooka moves out of range as Kang throws a body kick.
Kang shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ooka on the side of the head. Kang avoids the body shot from Ooka.
Ooka thuds his right hand into Kang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kang blocks a head kick by Ooka.
Kang slips under a jab from Ooka.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ooka connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kang is rocked! Paul Ooka seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kang tries to clinch up but Ooka circles away and keeps his distance. Oh Kang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ooka fails with the takedown. Paulo Kang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ooka throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kang colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Ooka as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kang is left battered and dazed whilst Ooka and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Ooka! After winning the bout, Paul Ooka thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
