Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues checks the leg kick.
The Icepick wants to clinch.
Rodrigues throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rodrigues misses with a lunging right hand
and The Icepick counters with a stiff right hand.
The Icepick doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rodrigues motions for The Icepick to come forward. Rodrigues throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rodrigues will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Icepick scores with a shot to the body.
The Icepick clobbers Rodrigues with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rodrigues throws a series of punches but The Icepick moves out of range.
The Icepick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodrigues swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The Icepick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rodrigues manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A clash of legs there as The Icepick blocks the low kick.
Rodrigues cracks the inside of The Icepick's front leg.
Rodrigues lands a body shot.
The Icepick tries to bum rush Rodrigues with a series of wild strikes but Rodrigues uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rodrigues throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from The Icepick. Rodrigues does a little dance to reset his feet.
The Icepick has managed to clinch.
Rodrigues jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Icepick walks away with a smile on his face. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rodrigues throws an ugly left hook that misses
and The Icepick counters with a nice uppercut.
Rodrigues tries to score with a low kick but The Icepick moves his leg out of the way.
The Icepick throws a leg kick
and Rodrigues counters with a left and a right that stings The Icepick.
Rodrigues throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The Icepick misses with a hook. Rodrigues ducked under it nicely.
Rodrigues does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rodrigues scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Truck The Icepick has been cut.
The Icepick wants to clinch
and Rodrigues counters with a one-two to the body.
The Icepick has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables The Icepick to keep the fight standing.
The Icepick prevents a body shot from Rodrigues.
The Icepick prevents Rodrigues from breaking the clinch.
Rodrigues tries to break free but The Icepick pushes him back against the cage.
Rodrigues escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Icepick throws a shot to the body.
The Icepick takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The Icepick closes the distance and clinches.
The Icepick keeps control of Rodrigues as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rodrigues jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Icepick walks away with a smile on his face. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rodrigues fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Icepick manages to avoid it.

Rodrigues throws a low kick, looking for The Icepick's leg but The Icepick calmly moves out of range.
Rodrigues swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodrigues takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The Icepick lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rodrigues backs up against the cage.
It looks like Gabriel Rodrigues has been cut.
The Icepick drops his hands momentarily and Rodrigues takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Icepick drives through and clinches with Rodrigues against the cage.

The Icepick breaks the clinch.
Rodrigues throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rodrigues throws a wild hook but The Icepick just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rodrigues gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - The Icepick raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Truck The Icepick!
A relieved looking Truck The Icepick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
