Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janusz Tytanowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Pechna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tytanowy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tytanowy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pechna is trying to defend but Tytanowy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pechna is staying active underneath Tytanowy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tytanowy is looking to advance position but Pechna won't allow it.
Pechna actively working from the bottom here.
Tytanowy is just content to waste time from the top position. Pechna takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pechna thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tytanowy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pechna has gone for a leg lock! Tytanowy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pechna's guard.
Tytanowy pushes down on Pechna's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pechna is refusing to be controlled, as Tytanowy sits in half guard.

Tytanowy decides to stand and escape the position.
Tytanowy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tytanowy wants to clinch up but Pechna keeps it at a distance.

Pechna looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pechna is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tytanowy wants to get up but he can't break Pechna's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pechna lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tytanowy!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pechna swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tytanowy is now in Pechna's guard. A big mistake from Pechna there, giving up the dominant position!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tytanowy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tytanowy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pechna has a takedown stuffed.
Tytanowy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pechna manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pechna escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tytanowy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tytanowy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tytanowy tries to free his leg and advance position but Pechna is retaining full guard.
Pechna is breathing heavily.

Pechna is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tytanowy is aware though and is defending well.

Tytanowy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Janusz Tytanowy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Pechna tries to clinch there but Tytanowy circles away.
Tytanowy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pechna will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Janusz Tytanowy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valentin Pechna.

Tytanowy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tytanowy connects with a leg kick. Pechna looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tytanowy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pechna takes a kick to the side of the head.
Pechna stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tytanowy.
Tytanowy throws a sloppy head kick and Pechna moves out of range easily.
Tytanowy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pechna is trying to get back to full guard.
It looks like Tytanowy is going to stand back up.

Tytanowy stalling away here and it's allowed Pechna to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Pechna is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tytanowy has his hands clasped together but Pechna extends an breaks Tytanowy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pechna.
