Simmons changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Simmons throws a good cross that connects.
Rush will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Simmons scores with a nice right hand.
Rush steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Simmons.
No joy there for Simmons, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Simmons throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simmons comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Simmons lands a jab to the head.
Rush is rocked!
Rush blocks a jab.
Rush is still on wobbly legs! Can Simmons finish him?
Simmons misses with a straight right.
Rush bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rush seems to have recovered his senses.
Rush avoids a punch combination nicely.
Simmons scores with a hook.
Simmons throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rush stumbling backwards into the cage! Rush bounces back off the cage towards Simmons, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Simmons lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Simmons celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
