Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Blanca!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanca pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blanca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darby moves in looking to clinch but Blanca pushes him off.
Darby has managed to clinch.
Darby misses with a knee strike.
Darby jumps guard but Blanca stands there with Darby around his waist. Darby gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Darby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Darby misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Blanca.
Darby drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Darby is working to tighten is grip on Blanca's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blanca has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Darby is really squeezing tight and eventually Blanca passes out! Darby breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
