Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Hensball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Mann!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hensball scores with a jab to the head.
Hensball scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hensball working the ground and pound but Mann is defending the strikes.
Hensball has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hensball misses with a double jab.
Hensball tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mann gets a clinch.
Hensball stops a takedown attempt from Mann.
Hensball gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mann regains guard.

Hensball is looking to stand up but Mann won't let him.
Hensball wants to control from the top but Mann keeps moving.
Mann working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hensball doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hensball manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hensball is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hensball can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mann is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hensball won't allow Mann to get back to his feet.
Mann has his foot on Hensball's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hensball works his way back into a safe position though.

Mann shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hensball is trying to defend but Mann finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hensball tries to kick Mann off but Mann keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Mann thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hensball's head.
Hensball has one foot on Mann's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Mann gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hensball is trying to push Mann away but Mann has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Mann goes for a takedown attempt but Hensball pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Hensball will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mann has a closed guard, preventing Hensball from standing up.
Hensball trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Hensball wants to stand but Mann has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mann is working an open guard so Hensball takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hensball fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mann, pushing him back against the cage.

Hensball with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Mann jumps guard but Hensball turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hensball is looking to control Mann's arms but Mann gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hensball has his back to the cage.
Mann fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hensball creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hensball looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hensball takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Hensball throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mann blocks it with crossed arms.
Mann wants a takedown but no success here.

Hensball manages to pull guard.
Hensball is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mann is controlling him.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mann throws a strike but Hensball rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hensball passes Mann's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hensball is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mann.
Hensball has gone for a leg lock! Mann slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hensball's guard.
Mann drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hensball dives on top into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Hensball has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hensball tries to throw a body punch but Mann avoids it by throwing Hensball back against the cage.
Hensball tries to land knees in the clinch but Mann avoids the damage to the body.
Hensball gets control of Mann's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hensball will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hensball is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mann is controlling him.
Mann looking to sit in guard and control but Hensball gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mann isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hensball stacks Mann on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hensball!
Hensball tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hensball has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hensball connects with a leg kick. Mann looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mann takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Mann closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hensball is pressed up against the cage. Mann has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hensball down to the mat. Hensball avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mann pushes Hensball up against the cage in a clinch.
Mann breaks from the clinch.
Hensball throws a right and a left that Mann avoids nicely.
Hensball moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mann looks for a takedown but Hensball sprawls well.
Hensball has managed to clinch.

Mann is trying to stall.
Hensball pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Mann counters with a low kick, right behind Hensball 's knee.
Mann clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tony Hensball showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Hensball has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
