Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Purpura Mortis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mortis!
Mortis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Angelo's head.
Angelo misses with a two punch combination.

Mortis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mortis.
Mortis throws a punch but it's blocked by Angelo.
Mortis throws an elbow but it misses.
Mortis lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Mortis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Angelo tries to bum rush Mortis with a series of wild strikes but Mortis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mortis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mortis lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Angelo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mortis has him pressed against the ropes.
Mortis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mortis keeps control of Angelo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mortis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Mortis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mortis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Angelo misses with a few strikes there.
Angelo is breathing heavily.
Angelo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mortis instigates a clinch.

Angelo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Angelo misses with a series of wild punches.
Angelo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mortis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Mortis cracks Angelo with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Angelo is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Angelo is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Angelo is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Angelo drops his guard momentarily, allowing Mortis to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Angelo! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Mortis takes it!
