Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Lepeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lepeaux has chosen Bad Brains - Attitude as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett shoots in but no luck this time.
Lepeaux scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barnett doesn't seem bothered though.
Barnett shoots in for a takedown but Lepeaux shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lepeaux defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Barnett.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Barnett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lepeaux keeps the fight on the outside.
Barnett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lepeaux scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Josh Barnett has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lepeaux lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lepeaux cracks Barnett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice uppercut there from Lepeaux.
Barnett shoots in looking for a takedown but Lepeaux manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barnett's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lepeaux uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lepeaux thuds a left hand into Barnett's body.
Barnett on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Barnett gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lepeaux gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Barnett is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A less than humble Roman Lepeaux misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
