Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kieran Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey West is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey West! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac misses with a series of wild punches.
Mac moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. No joy there for Mac, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from West. No joy for Mac on that attempt. West moves into the clinch. West breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
West throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Mac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mac throws a left and a right that both miss
and West counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. West tries to clinch but Mac is having none of it. Mac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mac wants it to stay on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - West looks like he's thinking about clinching though. West misses with a takedown so Mac counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. West looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mac will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mac throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as West works some decent striking defense from the bottom. West doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
West will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
West should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. West avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. West is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. West kicks Mac off and gets to his feet. Mac misses with a two punch combination.
West fails with a takedown attempt. Kieran Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey West. West lands a head kick!
West fails with the takedown and Mac counters with a nice double leg into half guard. West looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. West tries to get to full guard but Mac has control of the leg. West has a hand on Mac's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mac takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac landing shots from mount. Mac looking to control but West is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mac landing shots from mount. Mac throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mac misses with a head shot. West tries to hold on but Mac pushes him away. West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac wants to finish this one by submission but West is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mac. Mac misses with a head shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mac is landing with some decent strikes but West is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. West can't escape the position.

West shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mac but Mac pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mac falls off balance throwing a combination
and West counters with a low kick, right behind Mac 's knee. West avoids a punch combination nicely.
Joey West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West fails with the takedown and Mac finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. West has his takedown stuffed and Mac counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kieran Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey West. West shoots in looking for a takedown. Mac tries to sprawl out of it but West keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mac manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. West is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. West has a takedown stuffed. Mac misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mac circles away from the clinch attempt and Mac counters with a flying knee. Nice. Mac swinging wildly here.
Kieran Mac is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by West.
That's two minutes gone in the round. West misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
West closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mac circles away. West tries to sprawl but Mac drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mac throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. West tries to get to full guard but Mac has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mac decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Nice uppercut lands for Mac. That snapped West's head back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac scores with a takedown into West's guard. Mac throws a big right hand that misses. Mac with a flurry of punches that miss. Mac stands and steps away. West gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. West looks for a takedown but Mac sprawls well. Mac tries to bum rush West with a series of wild strikes but West uses good footwork to avoid the assault. West doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mac counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mac blocks the strikes from West.
West is looking to control Mac's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can West avoid being mounted? Kieran Mac overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. West is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mac thows a huge punch but West dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kieran Mac dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mac throws a low kick but West moves out of range easily. West shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mac counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. West is holding on to half guard well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mac connects with a nice short shot to West's temple. West avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mac. Mac not landing any meaningful shots this time. West takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. West trying to hold on to Mac's head to control him but Mac postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. West wants to get back to full guard. West is refusing to be controlled, as Mac sits in half guard. Mac postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for West to stand up. West clinches with his opponent.
Mac keeps control of West as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. West can't get the takedown.
Mac turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mac manages to end up in side control. West defending against the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. West tries to escape but Mac is in control. Mac creates some space and throws a big elbow, but West sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Mac fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mac grinds an elbow into West's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! Mac throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Mac has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mac postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sloppy strikes there by Mac. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. West wants to control but Mac postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but West is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mac decides to stand back up. Mac misses with a double jab.
Mac leaves West with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kieran Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey West. Mac closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. West did well to prevent Mac getting side control. Mac sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. West defending well though. West wants to get back to full guard but Mac has passed into side control. You can see the frustration on West's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

West is trying to improve his position. The strikes coming from Mac are missing the target in this wave of attacks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mac works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. West takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Kieran Mac showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
