Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marsh has chosen The Fight Song as his entrance music. Stan Marsh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Abbot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Marsh! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbot misses with a low kick.
Marsh moves in looking to clinch but Abbot pushes him off. Abbot fails with the takedown and Marsh counters with a nice uppercut. Marsh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Abbot misses with a few strikes there.
Marsh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Abbot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Marsh clinches up with Abbot and pushes him back against the cage. Marsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abbot fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Abbot misses with a takedown and Marsh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Abbot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abbot doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Marsh to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good standup being displayed there by Marsh as he connects with a hook. Marsh smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Abbot could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Marsh cracks Abbot with a good jab. Marsh is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Abbot had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Abbot has his takedown stuffed and Marsh counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Abbot thinking. Stan Marsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Abbot is breathing heavily. Marsh lands with a hook. Abbot tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Marsh instigates a clinch. Marsh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Marsh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice straight punches there by Marsh. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marsh. Marsh tries to bum rush Abbot with a series of wild strikes but Abbot uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Marsh misses with a few strikes there.
Marsh connects with a crisp jab. A punch lands to the side of Abbot 's head but he takes it in his stride. Marsh digs a good body shot into Abbot's ribs. Marsh tests Abbot's chin there with a solid looking shot. Marsh closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Marsh does it's job there. Abbot takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Marsh is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. A lazy left from Marsh finds it's target. Abbot takes one to the chin there. Abbot doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Marsh lands a lovely overhand right. A decent looking cross lands there for Marsh. Marsh lands with a straight right. Abbot didn't see that one coming. Abbot looks up at the clock. Bad move! Marsh lands a right hand from hell, dropping Abbot. Marsh pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Marsh! A relieved looking Stan Marsh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
