Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales comes into the arena with Certified Bomb blaring out of the sound system. Cash has chosen Folsom Prison Blues as his entrance music. Miguel Gonzales is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzales as he avoids it easily.
Gonzales throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Gonzales lands but Cash takes it in his stride.
Gonzales is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cash has managed to clinch.

Cash jumps into guard, dragging Gonzales to the mat.
Gonzales wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cash trying to keep a closed guard but Gonzales is proving a slippery customer.
Gonzales wants to stand but Cash has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gonzales trying to control the position from guard on top but Cash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cash striking off his back but it's not causing Gonzales any problems.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Gonzales pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cash changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gonzales looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gonzales is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Cash has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Gonzales sneaks back into half guard.
Cash prevents Gonzales from improving his position.
Cash trying to mount his opponent but Gonzales defends it.
Cash not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Cash lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Cash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gonzales defends it well.

Cash wants to control but Gonzales is keeping him busy.
Cash tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gonzales knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gonzales moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cash wants to control from the top but Gonzales keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cash dodges the punch combination from Gonzales.

Cash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Cash counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gonzales wants to stand up but Cash is controlling him.

Gonzales not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gonzales throws a couple of heel strikes.

Cash stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cash on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gonzales tries to land a front kick but Cash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gonzales gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cash working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gonzales's head.

Cash has gone for a leg lock! Gonzales slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cash's guard.
Cash is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gonzales is controlling him.
Gonzales tries to stand but Cash is controlling from the bottom.
Cash is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cash wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gonzales is now in half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cash wants to get back to full guard.

Gonzales working over Cash with some ground and pound. Cash looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Cash won't allow Gonzales to pass to mount.

and Cash counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gonzales's guard now.
Gonzales is looking to stand up but Cash isn't so interested in that idea.
Cash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzales swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cash wants to control from the top but Gonzales keeps moving.
Cash looking to sit in guard and control but Gonzales gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cash wants to improve his position but instead Gonzales has moved into half guard.
Cash controlling the position well.
Cash trying to hold on to Gonzales's head to control him but Gonzales postures up.
Cash regains full guard. Nicely done.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cash tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cash keeping moving, preventing Gonzales from controlling successfully.

Gonzales has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cash to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gonzales is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cash pulls down on the head and he's put Gonzales to sleep! This one is all over!
