Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin misses with an uppercut.
Steve Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waul scores with a jab to the body.
Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Waul shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Austin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

enabling Waul to counter with a crisp jab.
Austin throws a series of punches but Waul moves out of range.
Austin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Waul moves away.

Waul feints and as Austin raises his hands in defense, Waul changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Austin lands a really nice looking cross but Waul seems unphased.
Waul stalks Austin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Austin's face. Austin staggers backwards, shaken.

Austin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Waul sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Austin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Austin.

Austin is looking to break free of the clinch but Waul has double underhooks.
Austin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Waul shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Austin but Austin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Some bone on bone action there as Waul checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Waul closes the distance and clinches up with Austin, looking for a takedown. Waul pushes Austin against the cage but Austin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Waul wants to take a breather but Austin is having none of it.
Waul is really struggling to control Austin but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Waul uses his free foot to push down on Austin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Austin.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Waul has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Austin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Waul looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Austin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Waul shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Waul throws a leg kick but Austin moved away.
Waul misses with a takedown attempt - Austin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Austin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Austin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Waul checks it well.
Austin feints and then cracks Waul's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Waul down.

Austin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
