Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mat Matmat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matmat comes to the cage accompanied by pass tha axe. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mat Matmat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leonard Khan! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matmat slips under a jab from Khan. Khan throws a right hand that Matmat ducks under and follows up with a left that Matmat also avoids with ease. Matmat on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Matmat avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Khan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Khan throws a hook but Matmat avoids it easily. Nice straight punches there by Matmat. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Matmat. Some bone on bone action there as Matmat checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Matmat defending well as Khan loads up on a big left hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khan throws a right and a left that both miss. Matmat checks the leg kick nicely there.
Khan throws a leg kick that misses. Khan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Matmat's head. Khan throws a low kick but Matmat moves out of range easily. Khan takes a swing at Matmat's ribcage but misses. Khan tries a low kick but Matmat avoids it. Khan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. The fighters circling - Matmat throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Khan misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matmat has Khan up against the cage in a clinch.
Matmat lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Khan lands a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Khan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Matmat utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Matmat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Matmat looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Khan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Khan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Matmat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matmat bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard. Matmat trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khan looking for a sweep. Not yet Khan, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Matmat stands up over Khan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Matmat with a nice head shot there. Khan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Khan looks gassed! Matmat is in close to Khan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Matmat makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Matmat content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Matmat scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Matmat postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matmat content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Khan can't keep his opponent in guard - Matmat advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Matmat lands strikes from half guard. Nice strikes from Matmat there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matmat wants to take a breather but Khan is having none of it. Matmat landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Khan trying to get back to full guard but Matmat takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Matmat prevents Khan from getting the reversal. Khan taking shots to the head.
Khan is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Matmat! Khan is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
