PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gotard Krasnodebski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gotard Krasnodebski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Jones!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jones looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Krasnodebski turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Krasnodebski swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones checks a leg kick nicely.
Jones checks a low kick from Krasnodebski.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Krasnodebski clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Krasnodebski jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones moves out of range of the leg kick from Krasnodebski.
Krasnodebski misses with a body kick.
Krasnodebski swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Krasnodebski looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Jones checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Krasnodebski throws a body kick that misses.
Krasnodebski looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Krasnodebski.
Jones takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Dave Jones has been cut.
Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Krasnodebski shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Krasnodebski.

Jones is rocked!
Krasnodebski misses with a body kick.
Krasnodebski swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krasnodebski.
Krasnodebski is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Krasnodebski finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Krasnodebski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krasnodebski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Krasnodebski moves nicely into side control.

Krasnodebski has hold of Jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Krasnodebski cranks the arm and Jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
