The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hadji throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick. Hadji rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hadji slows down the pace here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hadji controlling from the top position. You can see the frustration on Hadji's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Hadji is defending well. Hadji wants to get back to his feet.

Jones misses with the ground and pound. Hadji is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though. Hadji is looking for a sweep. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Hadji defends the submission attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones is looking to advance position but Hadji won't allow it. Hadji avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Cody Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
