The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokopoko shoots in looking for a takedown but Hamrock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lokopoko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lokopoko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lokopoko with a lazy takedown attempt and Hamrock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hamrock shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lokopoko looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lokopoko looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hamrock scoring with strikes to the body and head. That's one minute gone in the round. Hamrock prevents Lokopoko from improving his position. Hamrock with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hamrock looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lokopoko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hamrock controlling the action here. Lokopoko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hamrock pulls his head out easily. Lokopoko is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Hamrock is tapping! Great win for Lokopoko!
