Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alistair Overson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Beaumont McHale! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overson wants to clinch but McHale slips to the side and McHale counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Overson's guard now. Overson has momentary wrist control but McHale slips an elbow through the middle. McHale lands a couple of decent looking shots. McHale postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McHale postures up.
McHale sitting in guard here, content to control. McHale loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McHale slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. McHale working some strikes from top position. Overson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McHale tries to free his leg and advance position but Overson is retaining full guard. Overson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McHale stays in close to Overson's body and controls the position. Overson trying to control the position.
Overson being controlled here, momentarily. McHale lands a couple of digs. Overson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. McHale passes easily into side control. Nice work. Overson taking punishment in the form of punches.

Overson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. McHale lands a few punches from side control. McHale in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. McHale throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. McHale works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Overson is rocked! McHale lands a nice forearm strike. Oh Overson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McHale scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Overson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and McHale can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Beaumont McHale!
