The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy throws a body punch but Stanford moves out of range.
Roy lands with a shot to the body.

It looks like Jake Stanford has been cut.
Roy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stanford.
Roy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stanford shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roy pinned against the cage. Roy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stanford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roy tries to avoid it but Stanford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roy to the ground. Roy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Roy tries to bum rush Stanford with a series of wild strikes but Stanford uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
