Mac Cumhaill is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Warriors Code . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The fighters circle momentarily. Mac Cumhaill darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mac Cumhaill crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Balboa - the referee stops the clock and Mac Cumhaill gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Balboa. Mac Cumhaill manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Balboa clinches up with Mac Cumhaill and pushes him back against the cage.
Balboa tries a body shot but Mac Cumhaill blocks it.
Balboa lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mac Cumhaill is trying desperately to land a takedown but Balboa is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mac Cumhaill .

Balboa slaps away a takedown attempt from Mac Cumhaill , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Balboa throws a leg kick which misses Mac Cumhaill 's front leg but catches the back leg as Mac Cumhaill tries to avoid it.

Balboa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Balboa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Balboa fakes the leg kick and cracks Mac Cumhaill in the body.
Balboa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Balboa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mac Cumhaill moves out of range of the body kick from Balboa.
Balboa tries to land a front kick but Mac Cumhaill steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mac Cumhaill walks forward, straight into a front kick from Balboa.
Balboa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mac Cumhaill .
Balboa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mac Cumhaill back to the cage. Balboa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mac Cumhaill has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A nice leg kick lands there from Balboa.
Balboa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mac Cumhaill in his tracks.
